Apple Malaysia is now reportedly offering education pricing for selected Apple Watch models through the Apple Education Store in Malaysia. The move makes the Apple Watch one of the latest products to receive education discounts alongside Macs and iPads, which have long been included under the programme.Based on checks on the Apple Education Store Malaysia website, eligible users can now purchase several Apple Watch models at lower prices compared to standard retail pricing.
Among the models listed are the Apple Watch SE, Apple Watch Series, and Apple Watch Ultra.For instance, the Apple Watch SE is now available from around RM949 under the education pricing programme, while Apple Watch Series models are also being offered at reduced prices depending on the chosen configuration and size. However, the amount of savings varies between models.
As usual, Apple’s education offers are only available to selected groups including higher education students, parents purchasing on behalf of students, as well as teachers and staff members of educational institutions. Apple also requires eligibility verification before purchases can be made using the special pricing.
At the same time, Apple noted that not all Apple Watch models are included in the programme. The Apple Watch Hermès models, for example, are not eligible for education pricing.
Previously, Apple mainly focused its education programme on products such as MacBooks and iPads due to their popularity for learning and academic work.
